Total sales for May 2022 were reported at 94,383 units, an 6.4 per cent decrease versus the same period in 2021. Passenger vehicle sales were down by 14.7 per cent with 17,252 sales, while SUVs were down 4.0 per cent with 51,459 sales.

The Sports Utility Market is down by 4.0 per cent on May 2021 while the Light Commercial market is down 7.1 per cent on last year’s figures with a total of 21,528 vehicles sold. Passenger vehicles totalled 17,252 vehicles sold through May 2022, a decrease of 14.7 per cent on May 2021 figures.
