Motorcycle sales have accelerated to reach their highest level in more than two
decades according to figures released by the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries.
The FCAI says 89,374 motorcycles were sold in Australia last year - an increase
of 15,702 or 21.3 per cent over 2003.

Record sales of motor vehicles in August have brought the total number of cars and trucks delivered in this year to close to 600,000, with one third of the sales year still to go.
